low beam problem
The low beams on my 2018 CR-V seem to be poorly adjusted. But the dealer says they are fine. My problem is that is seems as if a visor is drawn across the illuminated area. It's hard to describe the problem: For the sake of my description, think of the headlight as a human eye, with an eyelid. It seems as if the eyelid is halfway closed... There is a very clear and distinct line of darkness above the lit area. (as if you had your eyes partly closed). So is this normal? I can't believe it is. When going up an incline the illuminated area is greatly reduced. A person standing 15 feet in front of the car on a flat surface is only illuminated from about the waist down... Help please!
Your CR-V has either halogen projector or LED headlights. Both options, but especially the LED, throw more intensely focused light than reflector style headlights like you would find on my 2005 CR-V. The sharp cutoff is designed to prevent your headlights from glaring in other drivers' eyes.
