Hey guys, i was out having some drifting fun in the snow in my RT yesterday. At one point, i quickly went to reverse and then shortly after came to a stop. Upon trying to take off after that, the car did not want to go into any gear but second. I can get it into 1st, but when i try to take off, it will not move. It wants to move, but cant. To describe it, it is like trying to take off with the parking brake on. Feels like something is locked up or binding. 2nd works fine, but that is it. I ended up driving it home in second because that is the only gear that i could get it into and get moving in. I checked this morning and with the car sitting and not running, the shifter seems to move into all the right places. Any ideas?

 

Disconnect the shift cables and shift it by hand on the trans. If it works the problem is in the shifter or cables. If it doesn't the problem is internal.
