Disabling alarm on 1997 Acura CL
So I recently bought an old beater Acura CL. It's a loaner car for a family member who visits twice a year. When it's not being used, I store it down the block. Apparently the alarm has been going off for days, upsetting the people that live near there.
So I brought it home and yanked out the alarm module under the passenger seat and of course the remote doesn't unlock the doors and the car doesn't start. So I need to put the box back in and would like to just snip the wire that blows the horn and/or turn signals. This is not a car anyone would want to steal - it does not need an alarm in my opinion. I did a search on here and came up with 9 pages of threads on how to fix an alarm, but I have no interest in fixing it, just disabling it but still having remote lock (and being able to start the car is nice). I saw some people mentioned a relay? Does anyone know which one or where it's at?
