Heat not working

Icon4 Heat not working

So the heat in my 90 EF hatch doesn’t work I put it on 1,2,3,4 and it does nothing. Anybody know what’s wrong?

By 'it does nothing', i'm assuming you mean the blower isn't working?

1 - check your fuses.
2 - check the blower motor - the brushes may have completely worn out. You can try applying 12V directly to the motor and seeing if it runs. If it doesn't run with 12V, replace the motor, if it does run, get a meter and a wiring diagram and start chasing it down.
3 - if the blower works on only a few of the speed settings (the higher ones) and doesn't work on others (the lower ones), you need to replace the blower motor resistor. I'm not sure if this being bad can cause the blower to not run on any setting...
