I have a 2010 3rd gen 4wd 2.4 l . Have had it since new, dealer maintained. I've always been disappointed by pedal response. Sluggish is hardly the word for starting out from stop. It's actually dangerously slow in response. There's also a great flat response between 40 and 60 mph or so. Is there ANYTHING that can be done to fix this horrible behavior? Do the pedal insert gimmicks work on the gen3? Anyone tried them?

Gosh. think i found at least one solution, accelerator pedal signal conditioners. Seem to be made by one mfg, sold by some different folks. Anyone have real experience with these things? amazon reviews vary...
