Default my passenger door lock will not fully lock or unluck when I use the key in the driver

Reviving this....my passenger door lock will not fully lock or unluck when I use the key in the driver's side door. I do not have remote entry. Is this an actuator problem on the driver's side or a problem only on the passenger side? All other doors lock and unlock just fine. The passenger door will try to lock and unlock but only partially moves....like there's not enough power to make it move.

The passenger door actuator must be a little sticky or the door lock mechanism itself, you'll need to open it up and check, maybe a clean up and lube will help but the actuator may just need replacing.

When you say lube, I assume you're talking about something like graphite powder and not some sort of oil, right?

Probably contact cleaner or switch cleaner on the actuator mechanisms and spray grease for the lock/button mechanism

I finally got around to changed the actuator. That didn't fix the problem. Any other suggestions?

Sounds like you're referring to your front passenger door lock. There are still other doors that are passenger doors.

Issue may be due to partially broken wiring, such as the wiring going through the door jamb area. You can pull the rubber grommet away to examine the wiring there.

An alternative is to remove the door panel first, then:
  • measure the voltage on the Yel/Red wire (power +) to the door actuator
  • check for continuity to ground (-) on the Wht/Red wire.

Check passenger side first.
