Default 91 civic door speakers

Fixing up a project car. And I'm replacing all 4 speakers. I have 6.5 inch speakers but the door brackets are broken and don't fit.

dose anyone know what speaker brackets work? I think the current ones are 6.25. And won't fit my 6.5 speakers.
Can ya link something that'll fit?

Do you have access to a 3D printer? I 3D printed some adapters so that I could mount some RF speakers (R165X3) in the doors on my 1990 Civic Sedan. I could share the file, but it would be up to you to make sure the hole spacing works for whatever speakers you buy. I'll also mention that with these, the speaker was grounding out to the door, so I had to use some gorilla tape to isolate the wiring from the door frame in one small spot.

By "brackets", you don't mean the plastic baskets that Honda used to hold their stock speakers, do you? I have yet to find a 6.5" speaker that didn't fit in those once you buzz off the "bottom" of the basket. Dremel makes that quick and easy. Would recommend trying to use them, just to help protect the cone. And heck, I don't know how you'd break those without running them over, so I'm really curious what happened to them, haha.

im using 6.5 bose out of a acura 3.2 cl... the only thing i had to do was use (redrill) new holes for mounting.... driver side worked great although passenger side rubs on speaker magnet so u cant roll it all the way down. but noone is ever in my car so i dont mind lol. probably not the answer your looking for. also had cadence 6.5 prior and the adaptor that cam with them worked just fine speakers were garbage tho
