Default 8th generation Civic AC compressor clutch

I bought a repair kit on EBay to rebuild the AC compressor clutch on a 2008 Civic LX - it has the belt pulley, the clutch and the coil. The new clutch is slightly different, as the raised interior spine is 4 mm shorter than the original. I wrote the seller, .but only got Chinese script. I have a feeling that they don't have a clue whether this height difference will affect performance. I don't know whether to put this new clutch on or not. Anyone ever encounter this issue?

it shouldn't be an issue, you just need to make sure the gap is within spec by measuring with a feeler gauge and using the appropriate shim or shims that came with it
