I was at stoplight and car just died,but still had battery power. Found it had lost spark. Check main Relay and it's good. Did this few times before but it would start back up. Now it just cranks but won't run. Please help

 

Sounds like the rotor button came off the distributor. Pull the cap and check. Sometimes it will die and start back up if the screw is really loose. It dies and won't start when the rotor comes all the way off.

 

I have it narrowed down, got spark out of coil so I'm changing the cap and rotor. Hope that's it
