Hi i have an 2001 acura integra ls ive been working on for awhile now i just recently bought a battery for the car before ive been jump starting it and it starts after i put the new battery in and try to start it it wont start and shows green key icon the key isnt original i found this ecu and ignition that comes with a key and im wondering if i need to get that or if theres a easy way to fix the problem thanks.

 

The most common problem is main fuel injector relay issue

Other possibility..... It could be key reader/ring broken, or the key code is corrupted, so ECU doesn't recognize it. The different is that if the ECU doesn't recognize the key, then you can still reprogram it.

If the key reader/ring is broken, then you can't reprogram the key.
