Default 2001 Honda CR-V Rear Driveshaft odd ball.

I have a 01 crv I need to replace the rear driveshaft. My problem is that I seem to have the only CRV in the world which has a driveshaft where the yoke and carrier bearing are basically centered instead of off centered by about 10 inches. I have no idea why. Honda parts sells only off centered and so does, Detroit Axle, Rock Auto, O'Reilly's. Even my CRV guy is stumped. Has anyone got a clue why my drive shaft is this way and ideas for a new one.

Wow, that is super weird.

Looks like you might want to try to have someone rebuild the u-joints instead of replacing it. Maybe a custom driveshaft shop could help.
