Default Circle track b18c1 build

I have a stock b18c1 that I'm putting into my asphalt circle track racecar. I'm wanting to make 200+hp not sure how high you can get out of these motors. What are my best options. No power adders and must have stock intake manifold. Ideas?

Higher compression pistons, aftermarket cams and valvetrain (like Crower 2's or Skunk2 Tuner 2's), a quality 2.5" collector header, bigger T/B, Hondata and a tune should get you pretty close. The stock I/M will hold you back a bit.

Should I stay with stock bore size or go bigger? All the high compression pistons are around 85mm.

You would have to either sleeve the B18C1 block in order to bore it to 85mm or use a B20 block and bore it over 1mm... which I probably still wouldn't recommend. Don't worry about the size so much... the larger displacement will make more torque, but not necessarily more peak HP. There are many pistons made by multiple manufacturers that are 81 to 81.5mm. These will work fine for what you are trying to do. What brand were you looking at ???

Are you willing to build the block or are you wanting to leave the bottom end completely stock?
