Rywire OBD0 to OBD1 Harness, Plug and Play?
I currently have a 90 CRX HF, the original d15b6 in it has around 300k miles on it so I suspect it's going to go out soon. I've been looking into z6 swaps and they've been widely covered on HT and other forums, but the only thing that scares me is wiring in the OBD1 conversion and such. So, I decided maybe I can just throw in the d16a6 from the CRX SI and maybe boost it down the road. Then comes the problem that nobody really tunes OBD0 anymore. Which then leads to OBD1 converting it, which takes some wiring and stuff that I'd like to stay far away from from. I know Rywire makes conversion harnesses for the OBD0 to OBD1, they also have the distributor and v-tec harness too. They claim if I buy all those it's literally all plug and play. Is that true? At the end of the day, I'd really like to swap in a d16z6, I just really need some help. I'll continue to do some research and try and figure this out. Thanks for any help in advance.
They are not true plug n play if you have loose wires to connect. If they pre wire the wires with sensor clips then yes it's plug n play.
The more expensive version Rywire has available is plug and play minus a couple wires. Get the kit linked below.
