The "Camera System Failure" has happened twice and the distorted, flashing video has happened several times since we purchased the van new in November of 2017. The first issue we had was within a few days of our purchase.
Anyone else experience this?
Mostly this happens during the day when we first start the engine and put it right into reverse. Of course once the car is warm and you bring it to the dealer, they can't reproduce it. They say they can't do anything unless Honda approves it.
We are having the exact same problem. Did you get yours resolved? Very frustrating-it happens almost every time the vehicle is put into reverse. Also an ‘18 Odyssey EX-L
Is it possible the camera/indash system is still booting up and you're causing it to fail? How quickly do you go from starting the vehicle to putting it in reverse?
