First post...I think this is a great site ya'll have here!

The wire in question is the single green wire connector...it is on the seat belt wire harness that includes the yellow tensioner plug.
Someone else took this car apart and now I'm the one who gets to try an put it back together after I replaced the quarter panel and drivers door.

It appears to be the ground for the door switch... in the door jam to turn the dash light on/off that shows the door is open.

 

Thank you JR...makes perfect sense. After replacing quarter panel I haven't yet installed the door switch in the jam. ...once that is back in it will probably be obvious that the ground connect goes right there!
