Default Possible to put ABS in an EF?

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to put ABS in an EF? If possible, is it worth it..both money and time wise. would it seriously help braking? thanx in advance.

With enough money it should be possible, doesnt seem THAT hard either.. is it worth it? imo no
it would help braking only in panic situations, other than that i personally wouldnt want it

I'd love to have it for Solo 2. But I can't see it being possible to swap in.

I think it would involve a lot. I dont know if any of our 4G counterparts had abs. Even so..you're looking at a new computer..and a ton of stuff to put under the hood. It would be cool...but I dont know how possible it really is.

This sounds like a really good idea though, a couple of my friends have crashed their ef's due to ineffective braking in the rain or snow.

In Europe, the EF sedan was released by ROVER and not honda. So, you can get a Rover engine, full leather interior, 4 wheel drive, and ABS. That is about the only car that I think you might have luck getting parts from to slap onto your car.

the jdm SiR in 90-91 came w/ ABS. it would be a really involved task to put ABS in a US 4th gen..not impossible but a lot of work that the end result does not justify. del sols and tegs have ABS options

if you brake that much in solo 2, you'll be slowing down waaaaaay too much.. i just barely tap the brakes when i'm threading through the cones..

ya. i really need abs on my car. i've gotten into two acidents, both could have been prevented if i had abs. lets face it, when u panic, all you can think of is slamin the brakes and almost every time the wheels lock up. no one really has time to think about pumping the brakes in an emergency.

IMO, it would be more beneficial to take an aggressive driving course and have them teach you how to handle emergency situations( along with some other cool stuff..drifting..etc.) then you would just naturally pump your brakes.....
