Help please, I just recently did an engine swap in my 05 lx. The covers said vtec but come to find out, it was not a vtec engine. The guy didn't hook up the vtec but I didn't know if once the light goes off if it would throw a code for vtec...HELP!

 

When you did the engine swap, what did you put in to your LX? Did it include the engine harness and ECU?

 

It did include it

I know we did a new transmission solenoid, it's honestly probably a brand new car because we changed the water pump and timing belt, radiator, thermostat, temp sensors, all belt, new engine and as far as I know, that's it.

I'm trying to make sure I can get that light off to pass inspection

 

What car did the engine come from?
