DC5
S15
The Silvia will have better potential for modifying cuz it is FI. Personally I like NA better so I will go for the RSX.

Yeah I luv NA and hi Rev engines also. the only -ev thing about the Type R is that it's FWD. The Silvia is RWD.
hummm... I can't make up my mind !!
Come on Guyz... I need more replies to make up my mind.

Hmmmm overall the DC5R (I used to own an S15 Spec R). The DC5R has better fuel economy at least in my experience and seem overall better built. The DC5 feels like it can take more of a punishment than the S15...I don't know how reliable the S15 is but I would bet the Honda would win in this regard.
S15 is VERY nice though and good value for money - Spec S is cheaper than the DC5R.
As for my choice hehehe check my sig

GO DRIVE BOTH OF THEM and make up your own decision. it should be an easy decision after you drive them both whether it be rsx-r or silvia. Americans arent a good source of info cuz we dont have either of those cars.........
hey DC5-R !!
Glad to see someone from Australia here also ! heheheh
So if you get to choose... you'll pick the DC5R yeah ?
What about a 2nd hand S2000 ?
Please put them in order in your choice. DC5R (integra Type R), Silvia 200SX S15, Honda S2000 2nd hand.
TA !
Hey 23psi4age.... you're right man.. But I can't any forums in Australia..

I was in your position about a month ago...
Integra typeR or 200SX ???
Well i end up buying the typeR...
because insurance is heaps heaps cheaper and not many people have it.. unlike the 200SX or WRX or SKYLINE they are bloody everywhere...
plus it really looks nice and more classier than the 200SX...
plus i like the vtec sound when it hits 6000RPM...

the SR20det is a sound block .....and we all know how well FI engines respond to even the lightest mods ....and yes ...its RWD ....i say get the S15
S15s sure do kick *** on straights!
But I doubt they can handle (at least for very long) 20min track sessions in redline...

On the track Aussie S15 pulls slower times than the DC5R and DC2R. But once they are modified (sussy, more boost, IC, turbo back exhaust) their potential surpasses the ITRs...
Some of the S15s with mods (sussy, more boost) at Wakefield park pull 1:09s I think where as the best time Ive seen for an ITR (DC2R% around the same track is a 1:11.0x...

also the aussie S15 is detuned hardcore too! 147kw (200hp) same kw as the DC5R...

I think sales of the 240 weren't high enough to justify nissan sending us that chasis. I know they were in financial limbo a little bit ago.
S15-Hands down,...
---by far the nicest-I would have bought one if they we're here!
Second hand S2000--not too bad!!!
DC5-R-Against those two,...wouldn't stand a chance!
But then again,..it all depends on your budget---S15 would keep you happiest the longest before modding it I'm sure

I raced a stock S15 in my DC5R and he cheated and started 3 car lengths ahead and by the end of 4th gear I was 1/2 a car in front hehehehe...he was not happy at all
Stock the DC5 can play with them but once they're modded bye bye DC5

I love hondas, but if I had that choice I would pick the 200sx.
