2001 accord no heat
I have a 2001 accord 2 door v6 coupe and the heat is not working. The heater core has been checked, flushed, etc, the thermostat has been replaced and the water pump had been changed out twice. This all seemed started when the last water pump broke. The heat is lukewarm, at best. This cat usr to have awesome heat. I have also noticed that the thermastat rarely gets to 50%, usually about 40%. When the heat gage use to be turned to high I would heat what sounded like a door close from behind the control panel. I have been told that this is not possible. We have gone to a few places, they all want to start at ground and replace/ flush the prior shops work. Help?

You could have a blend door sticking only allowing some heat through. The first thing I would check though is there’s no air pockets in the cooling system that got stuck in the heater core. Try purging the air from the system first
If your 100% sure there’s no air in the system then I would move on to seeing if the blend door is stuck. On my 1995 Accord the cable for the temperature selector likes to bind and break off sticking the door in place. I’m sure the 2001 Accords have a different set up but they still have a temperature door that moves back and forth to change from hot air to cool air
