Removed alarm now car won't turn on
Helping out my cousin on his EK9 that he got a few weeks ago. Cars wiring is terrible. Spliced, cut and open wires all over inside and running to the engine bay connecting the the battery etc.... The wires are from the clifford alarm which doesn't even work so i removed the whole alarm from the car. Pretty sure i didn't remove any other wires other than the alarm. So now the problem i have is that the car won't crank/start. I heard this could be due to the alarm having some sort of kill switch but car has power and everything just won't crank. My question is since the dash wiring is all messed up could i just replace that to possibly get the car running or could it be a replay or something i fried somehow?
Replacing/Repairing the dash harness would definitely be helpful.
If you pulled the alarm relay along with the alarm box, that would prevent it from starting. Should only pull the alarm brain but leave the relay plugged in.

The wire that controls the starter is black with a white stripe. Usually it is cut where it comes out of the column and a starter cut relay spliced in. A complete removal of the alarm would involve removing the relay socket and splicing the wire back. Though since the relay is normally closed, like TomCat said the car should start if you leave the relay plugged in.
Always disconnect the battery during electrical work. Otherwise you can blow fuses or cause other damage.

Might be a dumb question but what does the relay socket look like so i can remove it and put the oem wires back together to see if it turns on
The relay is the square box part usually zap strapped to the harness just under the dash.
You can also usually find a sensitivity sensor strapped to the steering column under the dash two.
It's still not a bad idea to replace the harness so the main wires aren't cut and spliced into. To revert the existing splices requires a serious high watt solder iron as the wires gauge is a massive sized wire.
The Harness to replace should only be the ignition harness if I recall correctly on these clifford alarm installs.
