Exhaust Tip Sizing
So...the outlet diameter on my muffler is 2 and 3/8ths inches (I measured it 5 times to confirm). The vast majority of Exhaust Tip inlet diameters are 2.25" or 2.5", with a few being 2.375.
So I know I should try to match up the Exhaust Tip Inlet Diameter as best as I can with my exhaust outlet diameter, which means I should buy a Tip with an ID of 2.375....but there's a lot more options at 2.25 and 2.5, so can I buy one of these and have a shop weld/fab it up to fit? And if so, should I buy a 2.25 or a 2.5? I'm not sure if they can stretch or shrink the ID of the tip, I don't have any experience with welding...
Thanks in advance!

I'm measuring OD. Well, at least i think i am. And I believe the exhaust tips are being measured OD as well.
and um, 3/8" is 0.375".....2/3" is 0.667"......
