1998-2002 4-cyl accord oil pan gasket
On the 6th gen, 4-cyl Accords, to get the oil pan off, in order to replace a leaky oil pan gasket, do you have to remove a drive shaft, or the exhaust, or any other very difficult thing that would make you want to forget it if you only drip like one drop of oil per day? If so, if anyone has a detailed written procedure to pass along, that would be helpful to justify not bothering.
I did mine on 4 cyl 1999 few month ago.
Soaked the exhaust manifold bolts for a couple of days and undid them without problems. The only unforeseen thing was the short secondary O2 sensor short wire that did not let me to lower the pipe. So I had to unplug it.
Good luck,
Sam

I did this on a 97 a few years ago. I believe there's also a beam running front to back under the oil pan with the front jack point on it, at least on 5th gens. For me the hardest part was getting the baked on, old gasket off the the pan. It was hard (felt like plastic rather than rubber) and took me a few hours of scraping to really get the pan clean. I later saw a recommendation to heat the pan in order to soften the gasket and ease removal, but I didn't try this myself.
