So I have changed my Coupe's interior from the original gray seats to tan leathered ones that I found in a 6th gen Coupe. I am also converting my manual doors to powered ones which require new door panels. I very randomly found these from a guy on the Dutch 'craigslist' and bought them as they compliment my brown interior very well. My question is, does anybody know if these are from factory or if they were just inserted as a means of customization?
I don't think Civics had factory "options" for those door panels. Someone re-did those. Just look at them closely. You can see the creases.
Citation needed but I'm pretty sure there were some variations on those door cards. I know I've seen black leather inserts before... May be thinking of a different Honda, or it was a custom job as well.
The ones in OP were definitely not from factory, they look pretty decent though. I'd try to work out some of those bubbles/lift from the skin though.
