Default 2003 civic lx engine and intake faults after head rebuild

Hello. I have a 2003 civic lx 1.7L SOHC D17A1. 200k. I recently rebuilt the head and replaced the timing system because the timing belt snapped. I also replaced the starter because it was dying. After replacement it wouldn't run and seemed to be burning coolant. It wouldn't run without the OBD 2 scanner plugged in and it gave me P0113 and P0118 codes. I never ran it for more than a minute or two to prevent any damage to the system. I found out that why it wouldn't start or run without OBD 2 plugged in was because of a ground wire I forgot to connect. I fixed this and plugged in an O2 sensor that was also unplugged. The car now starts without the scanner plugged, but I still have the coolant and intake temp errors (P0113 and P0118). Still burning coolant but less I think. Also it is possible that the intake temp sensor has been broken for a while because I got it from a junkyard along with a new stock intake and haven't started the car since. The only reason I replaced the intake and sensor is because they got smashed during dissassembly. What could be causing the problems?

Did you plane the head before reinstalling?
Check the IAT sensor for failure, poor connections, loose terminals or open in the system.
Same for the ECT sensor.
