1991 CRX Roll bar
I have started a K 2.4 swap into my CRX. I have purchased an engine and a 6 speed transaxle with a limited slip differential. Will be purchasing all other components needed, mounts, axles, etc., etc..
I plan on adding a turbo charger system, once the engine is in.
I want to install a roll bar for my protection.
I do not want to drag race this car.
I do not want to road race this car.
I will want to do some local auto cross events.
I want to use this car as a daily driver.
I want to get some advice on roll bar options.
I want to get some advice on seat belt options once the propose roll bar is installed.
Thank you in advance for your time and advice!

How tall are you?
Assuming you will not be wearing a helmet while driving on the street, any cage that has tubes running by your head can be very dangerous in an accident as your head can bang into it.
Tube padding is meant to pad a helmet, not an unprotected head.
If you only put a 4 point behind the seat, it can offer you some protection, but of course the front/windshield area can still crush down in a rollover.
Really look into the cons of whatever design cage you intend to run on the street.

Autopower 4 point rollbar (weld or bolt in, you pick, but bolt in is probably better for you, as you can remove if you get tired of it), any good fixed back seat that you can fit in that is still comfortable for daily driving (I like Cobra's versions), then 5-point harnesses (Schroth), while still keeping the stock seatbelts hooked up to the seat bracket for street driving.
Hard to get aftermarket brackets to work with any seats and not decrease your headroom by an inch or two, so be careful of that. And as has been said, rollbars are less safe on the street, unless you wear helmets constantly. And that would kill any beehive, so I don't do it. You'll probably die in a decent accident in a crx no matter what, though.

theres no new (rollbar or any part for that matter) options for a 26-30 year old car.
roll cages and roll bars and fixed seats and harnesses and everything in between have been talked about for decades.
really man, i just did a search and theres the SAME people talking the SAME stuff.
