You can see where something grinded against the metal in a circular motion. But I only found a few metal shavings. Nothing else was in there or fell out.
Springs are intact. I see nothing broken. When I put my finger in the center, it's very loose and wiggles around and is noisy.
I was having problems with car refusing to go into gear. Someone told me that the master slave should be replaced. So I replaced it. Afterwards the car would absolutely refuse to go into any gear unless the car was off. But if I did that and started it while it was in gear, it would lunge forward like I didn't have the clutch peddle pushed. And also constant rattling from clutch area while running with clutch engaged or not. So I bought a new clutch and pulled the motor. This is what I seen.

 

are you saying the clutch disk is loose ? nothing should be moving inside when you put your fingers in there
