2005 Honda CRV fuel gauge stuck on full
I have a CRV in USA and while driving, the engine just died. Lights was on, charging system still good and coasted into an Autozone. Pushed it to a auto repair shop close by and had a tech look at it. Next day and $500+ later, said he already had changed the fuel pump. So I picked it up and drove away. Next 2 days it happened again and I called him and he told me to put gas in it and go from there. So I did put in 5gals and it started right up. Made it to the gas station and decided to fill it up. As I was filling it up, the gas gauge needle peaked out at "FULL" but the gas pump kept on pumping for another 5gals. IT WAS WEIRD. It said it was full but the gas pump didn't stop.
Long story short, the fuel needle is still pointing to full. Ran the CRV for couple days and still pointing to full. Could it be the gauge or the NEW fuel pump assembly is faulty?
Thnx in advance.

Sounds like they bent the gauge when they did the fuel pump. My wife had the same thing happen. Reset your trip B when you get gas (fill it), you'll know about how much is supposed to be left in the tank.
