Wanting to do a lo-tec integrated antitheft system, have a 37820-POH-L01, there must be a resource for finding the wire map/pin out diagram for our or any ECU's
I'll be gutting the interior for other work and encasing wiring in welded wire causeways (inaccessible for bypassing by splicing) probably using GSM arduino and 10 key keypad or touchscren LCD for disarming disablement and defensive tech.

 

You have a $1200 Honda Accord and you are going out of your way to install some integrated alarm system for it? I don't think those cars are worth stealing these days.

 

Thats what I thought too, but within 24 hours of moving to portland OR it was stolen by some punk.
Luckily they ran out of gas in a nice neighborhood so no parts were stripped off during the week it sat there waiting for the police to find it.
Its so bad out here that they steal cars that don't run, they push them down the street and fix them in a dark area. I've seen instances where they have aired up tires, put gas in cars and even jumpstarting cars sitting out in fields forgotten about for years.

 

if that's the case, you will need a reputable car alarm with multiple sensors. You can do the install yourself if you're competent. If not, having someone/some shop to do the work.

 

Oh I'm plenty competent, alarms are annoying and people just ignore and resent them, my goals are more of a disablement and cause = effect; there will be consequences for activating key features of the cars systems without proper prerequisites being met, like if the door opens without keyfob and/or door lock cylinder being disarmed the headlights, windshield wipers, blinkers would be disabled raising chances of being pulled over, or if keypad code is not properly entered something bad might happen.

 

Whats this about resetting an immobilizer? Is this a feature built into the ECM?
