ECM Replacement 2002 Accord EX V6
Looking to replace ECM.
Ebay sells ECM with key and immobilizer. I am thinking this is the best way to go. Can I buy just ECM and key, or is the immobilizer required? Looks like it is basically the ignition switch and a cable.

Mike said you don't need to buy another immobilizer, you just need the key and the ecu, provided they already match. But if they are throwing the immobilizer in for free then why not.

Will this effect the security system in my car since I replaced the computer with a used one, jw cause I wanted to see if the old key will till unlock my doors properly without setting off the alarm

Will this effect the security system to my car or is it still okay to use the old key to unlock it if I lock it after putting the new computer in because I just replaced it today
