Default BMXA Whining Noise - Valve Body related?

Hi,

My 2003 Civic with BMXA was stuck in park with a whining noise; absolutely would not move. I have pulled and disassembled the transmission. The clutches all look good. ( I will replace anyway). The filter was not completely clogged like I thought it would be ( I will replace anyway). None of the steels are burned (I will not replace). There was very minimal debris and dirt inside of the case (subjective, I know)... I will also replace the torque converter.

Can you tell me where to look next? Should I pull ALL of the valve bodies apart? What do I look for... Just dirt? Are there O-rings inside of there needing replacement?

Im kind of thinking that my only issue is the torque converter...

I sure would appreciate your help.
