Hi! I'm having a big issue with my 93 honda accord. As I'm driving, it will sputter, but once the rpm goes up, it stops, and then starts again once the gears change. On the highway it won't do it much, but once it does it going down the road I will start smelling gas fumes and once I stop, smells like exhaust fumes. Its also stalled on me twice when I put it in drive, and also when I was going down my driveway, which is steep, it tried to stall then as well, but it doesn't stall while driving what so ever. Not much power when it's sputtering like crazy either. And let me remind you I don't have a muffler on right now bc I have to get a new one so it's super loud and sounds like I straight piped my car. What could be the issue?

 

Not enough to go by. What engine? Does it idle good? Wot good? Is it just part throttle?

i am in same predicament. No cat due too thief and been running for awhile and than one day instantly i noticed it little before and once i got home. The fume, hesitant like a clog, and it stalls out.

Don't have any other mechanical or have any other internal issues with vacuum/

throttle/chambers/engine sensors/leaks
