Default brakes for a 2011 civic sedan

very generic question. my son has a 2011 Honda civic and I need to put brakes on it. haven't even seen the car yet. will it have discs on all 4 wheels? or drums on rear? I know, I know..probably not enough info. but wanted to ask anyway

As holmesmanny said...it depends on trim.

Are you guys waiting on delivery? Or can your son take a look between the spokes?

For further reference, I usually shop rockauto.

Choose the least expensive (including shipping) blank rotor and/or drum option.

Buy good pads.

If you want ceramics for some crazy reason, Akebono makes decent pads.

I will say that I love Akebono pads. They work great, at least for me. They did fade a little in the mountains when worked hard, but since I have gone to the 300mm brakes, no problems at all.
