I got rear-ended, what is your best advice?
So I got rear-ended as I was waiting at a red light. The goodness is that I was insured and so was the driver who hit me. It turned out that we both have Geico. The driver's policy is taken on the full liability and paying for the repairs. I'll be getting my car inspected through one of their collision centers.
The question I have is what should I do? Take it to Honda so they can do a full inspection or my neighborhood mechanic?
And what must be concerned about in regards to the damages? Externally the back bumper is damaged but the car is not driving the same? What could of potentially be damaged other than the back bumper?

The subframe, trailing arms, control arms, the frame in the body, etc. can all be damaged.
Take it to the best collision center that Geico will pay for.
