tranny in guessing?

hmm... no sound in neutral...
and sound when in gear... loudest at 60-70 mph....
maybe ur bearing broke..
my bro's EK had this happen.... but not at those speeds. it was only 1st and 2nd gear
he had his tranny taken out, and they found out that those bearings came loose and was hitting against the gears when in gear.

just pull ur tranny out and see if there is anything that's not supposed to be...

The car is a '96 hatch with a 98 GSR motor, Skunk manifold, CTR intake cam, intake, header, 2000 Si tranny, ACT Maxx Xtreme clutch, and
Clutchmaster flywheel.... Am I missing anything Albert?

Do you really notice this when you are stopped??? That is completely normal.. When the car is in neutral and the clutch is engauged it spins the mainshaft... The only thing that is stopping your car from moving is that all the gears are in their neutral position.... Like wise when you set in the clutch it stops the shaft from spinning. If the sound is pretty bad try doin a tranny oil change... When a throw out bearing normally starts to go out you'll hear more of a clicking type sound.. Let us know if anything changes
