I found a K-swap for 1700!
How much more am I going to spend to get everything set up and running?? I know you need to get mounts axles and hondata ETC,
But I need a rough estimate!!!! I found a acura rsx type S for 6500 thats clean.
But if I can k swap my EF for less than 5000 total, I'm gonna say screw the RSX and Go K!!!!!!
don't read and leave me hanging, I need your advice!!
(yes i did research but posts are outdated!!)

 

Buy the rsx, unless you have unlimited fabrication skills and a lot of time, go with something conventional.

he doesnt log in much anymore
but he has a youtube channal now that you must watch
hes been putting the k20 and 24 in efs for a while now

type in young static on youtube and youll find his channal
you can watch all the videos or just skip to the k swap stuff
theres lots of info there just pay attention

It all depends on your resources at this point. If youre going to be paying somebody to do the work for you then you may be better of getting the RSX. But if you have the resources to do things like weld the mount and other fabrication that you may go through then yes it would be worth it. Can it be done for 5k certainly. I personally am in the process of doing a kswap and I haven't broke 1000 bucks yet. Ive just waited for the right deals and opportunities.
