I just drained and refilled the transmission on an 2011 Honda accord with Valvoline Maxlife transmission fluid. The reason is because it's much cheaper than DW-1 and it's compatible as long as the transmission is not CVT. Does 2011 have a CVT? Should I use DW-1 instead?

 

Honda only. Honda only. Honda only. Bottle of honda fluid. About 12 bucks. Bottle of max life. About 7 bucks. New transmission. About 1200$+labor. Nice saving all that money on cheaper fluid. Thankfully a dump and fill is only 4 quarts of that junk in there. You're rolling dice. Good luck!
