I have the GC coilovers, they work great easy to adjust too.

your setup sounds great...but you might want to look into KYB AGX's they are a bit cheaper, and are still adjustable.

That's the route I would take right there I've heard good things about Skunk2 coilovers from a lot of my buddies who use them also. GC is what I want personally though.

I've looked at the tein and the Tanabe(sp?). One bad thing is there both close to $2000.

Agreed. Choose your own spring rates.

Reference point for what? For rebound adjustment? For rebound on Konis, you start out turning them to full soft. Then you turn the adjustment **** towards stiff until you've found settings that you like. Just never run the car on the full stiff setting!

on my illuminas on my Teg, they have marks, 1 2 3 4 5, around in a circle woth a little arrow on the adjuster to give the desired setting, that way you KNOW each shock is set the same

For that amount I'd get a set of Tein SS dampers. You can get them from http://www.jaydm.com for $975 shipped.

I'd say either GC or skunk coils w/ koni yellows. Course you could always find a good deal on tiens. It really depends on which tien line you want. I really like the rates on the skunks for dc2s but the prelude seems a but harsher. Looks like a lack of travel.

Tein is straight up from Japan. It is way better than combining springs, coilovers, struts together. It comes complete! it has 16 settings.

There's an article about the Tein factory in the November issue of SCC. http://sportcompactcarweb.com/toc/

IMO, if i'm gonna spend about 1K for suspension, I'd go with the real deal.
I'm not saying GC+Koni is not a good setup. but Tein is the shizzle my nizzle! peace
