Civic Fenders fit CRX? *did search
Hey guys i'm wondering if the 88-89 civic hb fenders fit my 89 crx? i've called all the yards around my area and no one has a decsent condition crx fender anywhere...can you tell me if they do or not...the 90-91's fit, but with the corner lights, correct? thanks...
damn that sucks...know where i cna get the replacements for that much? thanks for the fast reply...the board moves too fast........
For a CRX front end on a hatch, you need to use CRX fenders, corner lights, and a the bumper. Likewise if you wanted to put a hatch back front end on a CRX you would need the hatch fenders, cornerlights, and the bumper. Also i'm pretty sure you gotta stay between the years on the parts (aka 88-89 or 90-91). Yea the changes are all really small but get a hatchback and a CRX side by side, nose to nose and you'll see what I mean. I'm debating finding all the parts for a stock CRX front end to stick on my car next year. My hatch's bumper hands slightly, also the metal piece between the bumper and the hood is sorta dented, on a CRX bumper its all one peice, flows a little nicer I think. As for the fenders, yea those have rust to. So i'm just gonna fix the whole front end at once with the fenders, cornerlights, and bumpers from a CRX if I can, should take car of my body problems and look interesting to say the least.
the corner lights are interchangeable between the civic and crx as long as you stay 88-89 or 90-91.

you're totally correct. wow, what a brain cramp. i remember even trying to get the crx corners to fit on my civic when i was fixing it after i rear-ended a benz. not only are the rears different, but the bulbs positions are different as well, so the back of the bulbs on a crx corner won't really fit into the civic fender.
i need a drink...

yea i cant find them for that cheap...my friends dad works at a shop and his cost for a new fender is $110...even my 95 civics fender is a lot cheaper...$45!!!
i need a damn fender too.. i changed my oil and my car was on a ramp, so i pushed it down while my door was still open so i could jump for the E-brake, but i didnt notice the door would hit the garage, somy door snapped and it messed up part of the fender along with it. happend about 2 days ago, i got the replacement door on yesterday and painted it along with the new fender, but the new fender i got is a crappy fit and i dont like it. so i need a new one.
