Hey Guys need some major help. I bought a Honda Factory Carpet Kit for my EG hatch. Double checking the part numbers it is correct for my vehicle. But there are issues fitting it. Now for some details. I have laid down Sound deadening material which is maybe at most a 1/4” thick in some areas. Am I missing something ? If anyone has any pix of their eg center console removed and original carpet still in that I could look at it would help immensely. Or any pro tips would be awesome.

So, you are confused about the fitment of the carpet... OE factory carpet is formed to a chassis floor that does NOT have up to 1/4" of dynomat on the floor and center tunnel, yet you expect it to fit your modified floor and tunnel properly ??? Have you ever put your favorite jacket on over three layers of shirts and wondered why it felt a bit tight ???

Seems the floor pan beneath the drivers side foot board is dented upwards. Will attempt to knock it down and report back the results. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
