Bad 2nd clutch pressure switch, code P1738, 99 Accord 6cy
How long can you drive on a bad 2nd clutch pressure switch, code P1738, 99 Accord 6 cyl? Light just came on. Transmission fluid ok, just changed recently. Transmission rebuilt about 30,000 ago, is at 233,000 miles now.

I would inspect the wiring and if need be replace the pressure switch immediately. If the switch is leaking, replace it.
PCM uses the pressure switch as a means to determine if there is enough correct pressure and when to shift.
