Icon5 Best Clutch for Daily Driving/Street needs?

My OEM clutch is showing signs of giving out after 94k miles after never being replaced by the previous owner. I daily drive a stock LS which I may end up boosting, a year and some time from now, aiming for 250-300HP. I need a new one that will last, is reliable for stock or boost alike, and can handle driving spiritedly.

I've read that ACT, Exedy, Competition, Clutchmasters, and even some XTD clutches are good.

I'm thinking about getting a Stage 2 clutch, possibly even Stage 3 if my LS can handle it very well while being completely stock. I'm sure it depends on the brand

Any good suggestions will be highly appreciated and of consideration!

Stick with the Exedy Stage 2 #08950B. They can take turbocharging up to over 260lbs-ft of torque and is extremely reliable and driveable. Just make sure it's broken in 1st,

(Been B-series turbocharged since 1999)

Stick with Exedy. They are some of the most reliable and budget friendly clutches period. Its all i ever run anymore. Btw, if you get a Stage 3, those are usually star shaped and arent the funnest thing in the world for daily driving. Stick to full face disks imo

The 08950B thick pad ceramettalic is very nice to engage if going turbo or higher power NA. Don't let the face of the clutch fool you into believing that it is like other Puck-sprung clutches from other companies in which they are hard to engage, and very undriveable. Exedy is better than that. I was easily at over 272lbs-ft of torque for 5 years with that clutch and was easy enough for even my wife to drive everyday.

^ This is what I have been running for years, since my ACT 6 puck took out the flywheel and pressure plate. It's perfect for daily driving and mild mods. Not too stiff or harsh.

Finally about to purchase the clutch. I found 2 different listings of the same Exedy Stage 2 #08950B.

There's this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/Exedy-Stage-2-Pressure-Plate-Grip-6-Puck-Clutch-Disc-Honda-Acura-B-Series/142470345229?hash=item212be4f20d:g:MUIAAOSwJGlZiiM K&vxp=mtr

and

https://www.ebay.com/itm/EXEDY-08950B-Racing-Stage-2-Cerametallic-Clutch-Kit-for-Integra-Civic/122584827717?epid=235652601&hash=item1c8aa00745:g: MEYAAOSwOMdZXl81&vxp=mtr

Which one is correct? They both have the same model # yet a different appearance.

Is the cheaper one worse? And if it is..how significant?

Only the second listing is the real deal. The 1st one is a ridiculous typo, of the wrong item. Period. That's a 6puck unsprung disk, and you'll hate life with that pos.

I've owned that clutch for other 10 years, stick with the second one. You're getting some bullshit part with the first listing

XTD is GARBAGE. Please take that option out of your list.

ACT > EXEDY > Competition Clutch > Clutchmaster .....in that order.

I'm running an Exedy OEM replacement clutch kit on my Integra GSR with full bolt-ons. Never had a problem with it. Broke it in normally, and it takes everything I throw at it.

I've decided that I'll just go Stage 1 for now to play it safe. I may just end up keeping it completely stock and boosting it or such in the future, years from now.

So, how's this? https://www.ebay.com/itm/EXEDY-CLUTC...tZZ~Oz&vxp=mtr

Looks legit, but Amazon has it cheaper. I prefer Amazon's return policies over Ebay seller policies.
