which tires are good?
Get some Yokohama AVS intermediates. I've heard that they are really good tires. Good dry grip and in wet weather.

yea actually those are what i have rite now...but they're about dead...are there any other tires that may be a little better?? For that size that is.
you want the nitto 455s these tires are the bomb.I've had these a year already pretty hard use.Plenty of tread left 205/40/16.Cheap to about $80.00 a tire.

nitto suck they're hard as **** my friend got a new pair of 405's and he did a burn out and those little spikey things were still on it but nitto's do last but the tires are not for road handling just stick with the avs or i have some other decent tires dunlop d60/a2 but i would just stick with the avs
Wow...XtraFastCRX was right for a change...Nittos are not the best tires, the 555's and Drag radials are good, but the NT-450s and the like blow goats for quarters...poor traction wet and dry, they were designed to be cheap in import tuner sizes and to look good, not to grip.
For good 14" performance tires, the AVSi's are hard to beat, and if they are still making the Sp8000 in your size, that is also a quality tire. If you want something that will last a little longer, try the Yokohama Avid H4 or the Dunlop D60A2, but remember that they are all season tires and will not grip nearly as well as an AVSi.
