Confused

Is this normal? its grey underneath 80 of the ribs but there is 2 spots that has red underneath the ribs

I'd suspect the hood was repainted and was originally red. I assume that picture is of underneath the hood.

That's definitely a repaint job. There's top coat on that rib, and the Civic didn't have a top coat on non-external panels.
