I tried to hand tighten my adapter that came in my oil pressure test kit. I can thread maybe only the first thread or two with my hand and then it will not go any further. Should it go in further than that hand tightened? I figured I should be able to thread at least a third in before I would have to use a tool. Or is that not the right adapter?
