Hello, I have a acura integra 95, it's making a rattling noise in from my engine. When I start my car it is fine, but when I shift into 1st to 2nd gear I hear a rattling noise when I accelerate into gears. The car doesn't stall or anything. It shifts good but when I gas it it rattles. When I'm in 5 gear it doesn't make that noise. ???

 

Mine did this until 1 week ago. It was the rear motor mount bushing. The rubber was old and separated from the metal housing. Sounds like it also needs to be replaced.

 

From my experience, rattling noises that are clearly heard from the cabin and only during driving, its usually something like a loosened heat shield or bracket of sorts. Get under the car with a ratchet and socket and make sure everything is nice and tight. There isnt many parts inside the engine or trans that can rattle without you noticing a huge change in performance or driveability
