hi folks.... me new to all this

How do I IO my paint... is there a reference number or code somewhere on the car

there must be a code written on a sticker somewhere (trunk, side door, etc)

Or else visit a body shop, they will know where is that sticker.

try also operation manual (if any), or other car papers (service schedule, etc)

You should have a sticker on the drivers side door pillar with the VIN number. On 2017 Ridgeline and Pilot, below the VIN number is a bar code. Below the bar code on the bottom line is the vehicle code and then a 5 to 6 digit paint code in the middle.

Example codes:
NH731P .......black
NH603P....... white
NH787M...... metallic gray
R561P ........ red
B588P......... blue
