Hello dudes and dudettes. I just recently changed the bulbs for the cig lighter and ash tray for my caR . I received the bulb and it was clear . Bummer. Acura diagram didn't even show the cap. Both my are burnt and not reusable to switch the cap . I located a part number that may be it but it's discontinued. 39622-693-003. Anyone know of any alternatives ? I may need to paint the bulb if there is no other options. They look white and don't match the rest of dash lights. Or if someone has the amber caps to sell me feel free to pm me. Thanks!

 

I don't think the ITR has a bulb cap light, mine doesn't. My ash tray light is also clear, not amber.

 

Both my cigarette lighter and ash tray have a orange/yellow cover on the burnt bulbs that I removed. Sort of like a mini condom for the bulb. The ones I have are also broken or torn so I can't reuse them. They are also stuck to the glass. I would post a pic but photobucket ruined that for me. I have seen the same type of covers used in cluster lights and dash lights of the same vintage Honda's. I actually have two but they are to big for these.
