Will a American made engine work in a Canadian built car?

Default Will a American made engine work in a Canadian built car?

I got a 94 civic, builtin Canada. Will a American built engine work in it?

As long as you can cross reference the correct part numbers for ECU, harness and distributor, there's no reason why it wouldn't work. Pretty common in the b-series world

Many Civics were built in Canada... that doesn't mean that they are Canadian cars. The '93 Civic Si HB in my signature was built in Canada... but it is a USDM model. It was originally sold in the USA and I have owned it since 1998... way down South. Do you live in Canada and was the car registered/tagged there ???
