I have a 1989 Honda Accord DX model and I have issues where the engine's RPM's jump from regular idle speeds to near stalling or it does stall. It did not do this when I bought the car and I have replaced the alternator and battery since then. This happens when coasting or at a stop, I would love to hear any ideas as to what the problem could be and some potential fixes. This is my first car so I'm very new to cars and the mechanical aspects of them.
