Icon3 Hey new here, trying to get EF hatch to go vroom

Car will not vroom. Bought as inop, its an 89 Civic hatch with 328k miles. Motor will turn, it is NOT locked up.

- Car WILL turn over but NOT CRANK/RUN

So far I have determined
-I am getting fuel
-I am getting spark
-Master Relay works
-the ignition switch is probably bad.
-my timing is correct

So far I have replaced:
-dizzy
-spark plugs and wires
-took off timing belt cover because it was rubbing belt
- battery
-replaced all engine grounds with new ones.

Any suggestions or things to check? Would like to get as much as I can out of the motor that is in it.... While I work on building this B16a5 I have for it.

For starters, tell us what motor it has in it now. Doubt it's the original at 330k miles. You said you're getting fuel and spark.....well there's only one thing else you need. Have you done a compression test yet?

It has a D15 in it. And I know the previous owner, and he never had the car running but he actually knew the person who bought it new. They are indeed all original miles, never had any major engine work done to it. Just maintenance. You can tell though it leaks oil HAHA probably burns it too. Just want to see how far I can push the little car to buy me some time on the b16 I will build for her. And yes compression is there as well!! I figured it is a distributor issue. The dizzy was hardwired to a toggle switch at one point. I ripped that sh** out lol. Come to find out, there was a couple plugs that were covered in oil that ran to the dizzy. And one wire that was not even plugged in. I fixed that.
